Students accepted into the 2014 cohort have also been invited to attend the event in the Cumming Graduate Center.
Advice for Students
Prior to the event, Elrod recommended a book he found helpful, Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln. He said:
"I read this 5-6 years ago, but it stuck with me because so many of my promotions or new positions have been situations where the guy that thought he should have had the job remained on my staff or coming form the outside, the existing leadership (reminaing) was not initially supportive.
During the discussion with the MBA students, I can touch on and answer questions around the process of taking over a new position/company and having to win over the leadership team while turning around the situation they were a part of creating."About Jack Elrod
