Anyone can call themselves a manager. But if you want to become a leader, a real leader, one who commands the respect and cooperation of your followers, you need something more than just a fancy title.
You need the knowledge, skills and emotional intelligence to inspire others. You need the humility to serve others, help others and think of something more than what’s in it for you.
An MBA from North Georgia can give you all that and more.
Designated by the state as a Leadership Institution of Georgia, our school has specialized in developing both military and civilian leaders since 1873.
So how will you hone your own leadership skills?
You’ll practice.
Before classes even begin, you’ll start exercising your leadership muscles at Team Advance. Then, you’ll be teamed with a diverse group of classmates in your cohort each semester so that all students have an opportunity to lead group projects.
Classes also include simulation exercises that allow individuals and teams to practice decision-making and leadership. Then you can evaluate consequences and outcomes to see where you need to improve.
And, to pull all your practice and experiences together, your group will complete our Capstone Leadership Project. This project puts you in the driver’s seat with a real client and a real business challenge. Your mission is to understand the situation and develop workable solutions for your client.
Be a leader others will be proud to follow.
