Family Fourth of July
Historic square, Dahlonega
Monday, July 4, 9:00am – 10:00pm
This traditional celebration includes a patriotic ceremony on the lawn of the Gold Museum, a reading of the U.S. Constitution on the courthouse steps, a Boy Scout watermelon cutting, and live music. The Independence Day Parade will pass through the historic square at 5:00pm, then a fireworks show will take place on the drill field at North Georgia College & State University.
Cumming
City of Cumming 4th of July Celebration
Sunday, July 3, 6:00pm – 10:00pm
Cumming Fairgrounds
Parking and admission are free. The event includes food vendors, inflatables for kids, live music and dance contest and a fireworks extravaganza.
City of Cumming Steam Engine Parade
Monday, July 4, 10:00am
Courthouse square, Cumming
The parade will include steam engines, antique tractors, antique cars and many other floats decorated in the spirit of the holiday.
